A stranger yawns outside an elevator door. They lean their head against a brick wall painted gray waiting for the slow elevator to make its way up to the third floor of the parking garage so they can return to their car.
*Ding*
The elevator arrives and the stranger groggily enters. The stranger sees the back of a young woman staring out the glass window. She does not say anything and she does not turn to face the stranger. The stranger turns to face the door and watches the elevator door close.
Not long after the elevator begins to move the woman speaks, “Going down an elevator is so much more relaxing than going up.
